How are you getting here?

By car

If you’re travelling here on the M3, leave at junction 10. Take the A272, then the A31 towards Alton. Follow the brown tourist signs to the Science Centre. When you turn onto the B3404 at the roundabout, the Science Centre is the first turning on your left.

Before you set off, check out the latest travel news with Highways England, or use Google Maps to plan the best route.

By bus

The No. 64 bus runs between Winchester and Alresford and will take you within 300 metres of the Science Centre, just at the bottom of Morn Hill. Check out the timetable for when the bus will be passing by.

Parking

We have a car park charge of £3. It's to help our charity meet the cost of caring for our lovely landscape in the South Downs National Park.

You can pay for your parking online when you buy your admission tickets. But don’t worry, if you forget to pay or your car changes we can sort that out for you on the day. Just speak to our team when you arrive.

Motorcycles and annual members can park free of charge. Please remember to display your annual membership parking permit in your windscreen.

You'll find Blue Badge accessible car parking bays at the top of the main car park. There's level access to the entrance from here. There are more Blue Badge bays closer to the Science Centre if you follow the road round to the left. To access the Centre from here, there's a short flight of steps or a sloping path. Ask us if you have any special requests, we're here to help - 01962 863791.
