Bubble Trouble - science show

We’re bubbling over with fun in the Science Theatre! Join us to discover more about the science of bubbles in Bubble Trouble, a brand new free live science show.

Who doesn’t love a bubble? Childhoods are filled with days of fun chasing and popping these beautifully fragile, rainbow-coloured orbs. But how much science is there in a bubble? Well, did you know, bubbles provide the opportunity to study science concepts like elasticity, surface tension, chemistry, light and even geometry. In this fun-filled 20-minute live show, our Inspirers will take a look at a few of these topics.

Through a double bubble of exciting experiments and live demos, you’ll discover more about the science of bubbles. Find out if we can put a person inside a bubble? Discover the fascinating dry ice bubble phenomenon. And be wowed by the exciting propane bubbles! Don’t burst our bubble, add a science show to your visit in the booking journey – it's free with general admission!
