What's on?

The Sound Show (20 mins)
How does sound travel, and can physical sound waves actually create dancing flames? Join our Science Inspirers in the Science Theatre for an explosive live show featuring audio exciters, smoke vortex cannons, and the mesmerizing Ruben’s Tube.

Science Live
Science doesn't just happen on stage. Throughout the day, look out for ScienceLive! where our team of Science Inspirers bringing fast-paced, interactive pop-up experiments directly to the exhibition floor. Check the information boards around the site so you don't miss out.

The Planetarium
Experience the magic of space in our state-of-the-art, immersive 360° planetarium dome. Every general admission ticket includes a show experience guided live by our Science Inspirers. If you would like to book an additional planetarium show, please enquire on the day of your visit.

Ted’s Space Adventure (20 mins | Recommended for ages 3–6)
A music-filled, presenter-led journey through the Solar System. Designed specifically for younger children, this show introduces early space concepts in a relaxed, interactive environment where noise and movement are welcome.

A Skyful of Wonder (30 mins | Recommended for all ages)
A calm, live-narrated tour of the night sky customized to the exact date of your visit. Learn to spot visible constellations and planets with gentle narration and minimal visual motion - ideal for a quieter, lower-sensory experience.

Fuel up for more fun: Take a break from the action with a range of tasty meals, snacks and hot drinks in our café, or bring your own picnic and enjoy our dedicated picnic spaces.

Don't leave empty-handed: Our Science Shop is packed with exciting toys, science kits, curious gifts and pocket-money treats, so you can take the adventure home with you.
