Uniformed group visits
Join us for an exclusive after-hours event and take home your very own Curiosity Badge! Explore science, engineering and space in this fascinating, fun and hands-on experience. For added wow, the evening will include a live science show or presenter-led planetarium show.
Every child will receive:
- a fun activity sheet to help them explore the Science Centre and challenge them to think like a scientist and engineer.
- a Curiosity Badge to take home and valuable experience to help them gain their own group’s science, engineering and space badges.
- energy, in the form of a drink and snack, to keep them going throughout the evening.
Are all uniformed groups welcome to attend?
Absolutely! We welcome all uniformed groups, including guiding and scouting groups as well as cadets, boys/girls brigade, woodcraft folk, St Johns Ambulance and more. Everyone is invited to attend on the same evening but at different start and finish times to ensure all age groups are well looked after. Please check the schedule below to check the timetable for your particular group. If your group is not listed, please choose according to the age of the children.
If your group has SEND requirements, we would be delighted to help develop the experience for their needs. Please get in touch with our team by emailing email@example.com.
