Saturday 14th March to Sunday 19th April

Hop into adventure this Spring and Easter school holidays term at Winchester Science Centre!

Step into a story-filled adventure at Winchester Science Centre, where little explorers discover the wildlife of the South Downs through movement, sound and imagination!

Children will follow an interactive trail around the centre, tracking the secret clues animals leave behind as they search for Bunny. Along the way, they’ll discover that nature isn’t just something you see — it’s something you hear, sense and explore

The fun doesn’t stop when the hunt ends! Families can download the Mammal Mapper app to continue their wildlife discoveries at home.

Families are also invited to join our Inspirers in the Science Theatre for a 20-minute journey into the fascinating world of the Moon. Audiences will step into the Lunar Experience and uncover the mysteries of Earth’s closest neighbour!

From 27 March, two brand-new planetarium shows launch: little explorers (ages 3–6) can enjoy Ted’s Space Adventure, a playful 20-minute fulldome journey through the Solar System packed with songs, humour and interactive fun, while older audiences can experience A Skyful of Wonder, a live-presented show revealing exactly what’s in the night sky on the day of their visit, from constellations to planets and the science behind them.

Plus, venture inside our enormous 10m long playable guitar, experience the wonder of acoustics inside the sonic rocket. Take a space selfie in the astronaut suit, build a tower that can survive an earthquake and discover the laugh out loud optical illusion of the Little Big Room. No matter what age you are, you can explore, play, create and discover why science isn’t just for scientists!

The Science Centre is open on weekends and during the school holidays.
