Get ready to be inspired this Easter with captivating live science demonstrations, epic journey in family space journey with two brand new Planetarium shows. Ted’s Space Adventure, a fun, interactive journey for young children, and A Skyful of Wonder, a calm, live experience exploring the night sky visible on the date of your visit.

Families are invited to join our Inspirers in the Science Theatre for a 20-minute journey into the fascinating world of the Moon. Audiences will step into the Lunar Experience and uncover the mysteries of Earth’s closest neighbour! 

A British Sign Language interpreter will be at the centre on 7th April, interpreing selected Planetarium shows, Lunar walkthroughs and live science demos, allowing a more accessible and inclusive experience for all visitors. Inlcuded as part of your general admission ticket on the day.

On the 10th April, don’t miss the Big Family Sleepover at Winchester Science Centre, an unforgettable overnight adventure packed with hands-on exhibits, live science shows, a Planetarium experience, and the chance to sleep among the exhibits.

Plus, venture inside our enormous 10m long playable guitar, experience the wonder of acoustics inside the sonic rocket. Take a space selfie in the astronaut suit, build a tower that can survive an earthquake and discover the laugh out loud optical illusion of the Little Big Room. No matter what age you are, you can explore, play, create and discover why science isn’t just for scientists!
