Cell! Cell! Cell! (autism-friendly)
You are made of 70 trillion living cells.
They work. They talk. They think.
They are what make you alive. This is the story of how they do it.
Join Raj and Sooki in this character-driven story as they use a series of bizarre contraptions to look inside cells and explore the human body. Discover the mystery of DNA and find out how we all started as a single cell.
This bright, brash show is best for ages 8yr+, containing biology concepts appropriate to teenagers and adults, but the characters and fast-paced action will hold younger childrens' attention too.
Advisory: This show does deal with biological concepts including human development from the point of fertilisation and hereditary genetics, explaining that half our DNA comes from our mother and the other half from our father.
Our autism-friendly shows are designed to be welcoming and inviting to those with sensory sensitivities and their loved ones. Sensory-friendly adjustments include:
- Lights left on low
- Sound turned down
- Freedom to move around and sit where you like
- Freedom to leave and re-enter the theatre
