A weekend of maths fun at Winchester Science Centre delivered in partnership with the University of Southampton Department of Mathematical Sciences. Maths games, puzzles and challenges for all!
Over the weekend, University of Southampton Department of Mathematical Sciences and our very own team of science inspirers will be delivering maths-themed activities, challenges and crafts throughout the Science Centre. Visitors can drop in to these special activities at no extra cost.
Activities to include a mini cipher challenge, a chance to make your own wave machine, an assortment of counting machines, games and much more!
Enjoy a programme of live, presenter-led shows and 360° fulldome films throughout the weekend. (To be announced shortly).
Planetarium shows are ticketed and are not included in General Admission. Savings are available for those who book General Admission and Planetarium tickets in the same transaction and for annual pass holders.
*Chatterbox shows allow talking during the presentation, ideal for younger children and for those for whom listening quietly isn't possible. For all other shows we ask that the audience remain silent so that the show experience is at its best for all.
