Success at Go4SET

On the 8th of July, several schools from across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight gathered at CEMAST in Fareham for the Go4SET Challenge.

Go4SET links teams of six pupils with employers and universities to offer a 10 week Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Project. These projects are then assessed at a celebration event attended by the pupils, their teachers, mentors and representatives from businesses and the STEM Ambassadors Programme.

The day was a great event, with Ericsson Television winning Best Overall project with The Mountbatten School, second was Bohunt School winning Most Innovative with Clarcor IA and third is Sandown Bay winning Best Students Choice Award with Red Funnel.

Many congratulations to the winners and to everyone who took part in the scheme!
