Free Computing Resources for Primary Schools

The Barefoot Computing project is about providing free high quality resources to help Primary school teachers with the computer science elements of the new computing curriculum.

Register on the Barefoot web site to access:

  •  A set of easily understood teacher notes that provide clear definitions for and explanations of the key computer scienceconcepts and approaches behind the new Programme of Study.
  • Free exemplar teaching resources which support the teaching ofthese key concepts at KS1 and KS2, wherever possible using cross curricular contexts to help bring the topics to life and showhow computing can be integrated with other subjects.
  •  A programme of 800 free teacher workshops being run across England by Barefoot partner organisations facilitated by volunteers from the computing industries and universities.
