Energy Quest Programme Proves Popular in Schools
The addition of the Energy Quest Programme to the Young Engineers portfolio of activities has proven a huge success with schools in the South West, South East and London.
The Autumn term saw the Young Engineers Field Workers travelling across the length of the country delivering the in-school activity to nearly 3,000 students in 46 secondary schools. The Energy Quest Programme is a free science based activity for state supported secondary schools. The activity is aimed at Year 8 and Year 9 students and offers a 3 hour science and curriculum led interaction. In addition, schools are gifted with The Pod, a free science resource worth over £200. The resource is given to the schools so that additional students can benefit from the programme.
Young Engineers is delighted with the response from the schools and is looking forward to revisiting schools next year and meeting new ones wanting to be involved. Further information is available on the Energy Quest page.
