School visits

********************

We can’t wait to welcome school groups back to the Science Centre but, in recognition of the challenges the country is currently facing, we have taken the tough decision to postpone all school visits for this academic year.

We are however, still working towards re-launching our hugely popular outreach programme, with a provisional timeline seeing the first workshops being delivered in classrooms following the Easter break. We can deliver a school-wide assembly involving live demos, exciting workshops and an optional long-term project, all while sparking curiosity in STEM and teaching students the scientific method in a fun, engaging and memorable way.

Full details of our 2021 offer will be announced soon but if this already sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact education@winchestersciencecentre.org

Visiting Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium is a great way to spark and encourage your students' curiosity in science, technology, engineering and maths. Our team of Curiosity Officers and Inspirers are highly skilled science communicators, able to present complicated ideas in a way that's right for all ages and ability. Find out what we can do for you on a school field trip using the tabs below.
