Mobile planetarium private hire prices
Full day £750 + travel* (ex VAT)
Half day £500 + travel* (ex VAT)
*Travel is charged at £1.80 per mile.
The mobile planetarium private hire usually offers three shows during a half-day booking, or six during a full-day booking, but if you would prefer shorter shows to allow you to squeeze more into the day, or an informal arrangement (eg music and visuals as a chill-out zone) then please get in touch to discuss.
Chairs can be placed within the dome as required, and wheelchair access easily arranged. The dome seats up to 40 young children or 30 seated adults at one time.
*The mobile planetarium requires an area of 8m x 8m with 4m ceiling height and a power source.
*These domes are not suitable for outdoor use! However, they can be erected within a sturdy, weatherproof marquee.

All shows and films use 360° projections and can be followed by astronomy Q&A if required.
Short taster shows (recommended if you need high audience throughput; allows additional shows):
Live show: a quick look around the night sky to spot some stars (10min+ as required)
Film: Destination Space (10min,Tim Peake / International Space Station, visuals with or without live narration)
Children under 5yr:
General non-specialist audiences, 8yr - adult:
Film: We Are Aliens (24min, the search for life in space)
More challenging science, 11yr - adult:
Live show: The Solar System and Beyond (35min, adapted to suit the audience)
