Mrs Sara Sullivan


Sara worked as commercial lawyer in both private practice and in-house in Hampshire for over 20 years. During that time she became involved in various initiatives to give young people the opportunities to develop their talents and fulfil their potential. These included Pathways to Law at Southampton University, mentoring secondary school pupils and developing opportunities for paralegals to train and qualify as solicitors.


Sara has always undertaken a wide range of voluntary roles and took on the role of Trustee of the Winchester Science Centre in 2019 as part of her continuing interest in developing young peoples skills and opportunities.


Sara has been a member of Hampshire Scouts since 2009 and has headed up Hampshire Scouts in Hospitals since it’s inception in 2015. This group brings scouting activities to young people in hospitals and hospices across Hampshire. Sara and her dog are also Pets as Therapy volunteers. She has supported Action Aid since 2000 including participating in Antony Gormley’s One and Other art work to raise awareness of child sponsorship.


Sara is married and has two sons and enjoys textile arts and walking, especially along the Itchen Navigation.
