Mrs Emma Diserens


Emma Diserens is the Director of STEM Strategy (Maternity Cover) and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Curiosity, Planetarium, STEM Now, Innovation and Widening Participation teams. This includes the school and public offers, the Central South England STEM Ambassador Hub and ensuring the Science Centre and its external offer are accessible to all.

Emma previously worked in public engagement with research, organising STEM festivals and roadshows. Prior that that Emma was a primary school teacher, teaching all subjects in KS2.

Emma has a degree in Geography from Sheffield University and a PGCE from Roehampton University. She enjoys yoga, rowing and being outdoors as much as possible.
