Jon is becoming a regular presenter at Winchester Science Centre. His passion for engaging science communication, delivered with imagination and energy make for an unforgettable show. Our live science shows are great for building a real understanding of the fundamentals of science, supporting a child's education and a great recap for adults! Often Jon's shows include experiments that families can try at home using everyday objects and ingredients.
Whilst here, enjoy full access to the Centre’s two floors of hands-on interactive science exhibits, the Invention Studio and the outdoor picnic and play area. There’s also direct access from Winchester Science Centre to Magdalen Hill Butterfly Conservation reserve for those who want to experience views across the South Downs National Park.
No visit would be complete without experiencing an immersive 360 degree fulldome show the planetarium (additional tickets required).
Show tickets cost £1 per person on top of general admission. Children age 0-2 free of charge if sitting on lap. Advance booking recommended.
This event will take place in the Space Marquee. Doors open 15 minutes prior to advertised show time.
