Starting the New Year with nature-based activities in the Science Centre.
Meet and handle mighty minibeasts and find out what makes these incredible creatures so special.
Over the weekend, visitors can drop in to these special activities at no extra cost:
- Get up close and personal with our mighty minibeasts. This is a drop-in session in the Invention Studio available throughout the day. We recommend that under 12s have direct adult supervision and under 16s have parental consent. This activity is run by our in-house minibeast expert!
- Free face-painting for children to transform themselves into their favourite bug. Face-painting available between 10:30 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 15:30.
- Pick up a free spotters trail to explore Magdalen Hill Down, the adjacent Butterfly Conservation reserve and enjoy views across the South Downs National Park
