Fabulous Flying Facts with BBC presenter Jon Chase

Get interactive with BBC science communicator Jon Chase as he explores the basics of aerodynamics using practical activities to investigate thrust, drag, lift and gravity.

Show tickets cost £1 on top of general admission. Live shows at 11am 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm (shows last for approximately 45 minutes)

Enjoy full access to the Centre’s two floors of hands-on interactive science exhibits, the Invention Studio and the outdoor picnic and play area. There’s also direct access from Winchester Science Centre to Magdalen Hill Butterfly Conservation reserve for those who want to experience views across the South Downs National Park.

No visit would be complete without experiencing an immersive 360 degree fulldome show the planetarium (additional tickets required).


Show tickets cost £1 per person on top of general admission. Children age 0-2 free of charge if sitting on lap. Advance booking recommended.

This event will take place in the Space Marquee. Doors open 15 minutes prior to advertised show time.
