British Science Week - Putting Theory to the Test
Visitors to Winchester Science Centre will be given a new complimentary activity book throughout British Science Week.
The booklet contains eight experiments based on the findings of famous scientists - Newton, Hippocrates, Fibonacci, Eddison, Galileo, Bell, Wright brothers and Faraday. Children and their families are encouraged to put the theory to the test using exhibits found within the Centre's exhibition area, complete science-themed puzzles and have a go at experiments at home. Aimed at children aged 8+ although younger children can enjoy the activities with help from accompanying adults.
The activity booklet is free of charge to annual pass holders and with General Admission, subject to availability. 10% online discount available on General Entry tickets when booked in advance, plus a further 10% discount when purchasing three or more General Entry tickets.
