Through innovative lesson planning, after school clubs and inter-school competition many teachers are taking the opportunity to increase the understanding of how learning in school links to the real world of the children and young people that they teach. A wide range of high quality STEM enrichment activities and schemes is also available to primary schools through the Education Team at the Science Centre. The team can provide information and guidance on any STEM activities that schools wish to undertake.

In addition, the Science Centre is an environment where students can engage with the Planetarium and curriculum linked resources based around the Centre's hands-on science exhibits. Visiting schools can also choose to book from a range of practical workshops and planetarium shows. For more information about the services available please visit the Education section of the website.
