The South of England's hands-on interactive science and technology centre houses 100 hands-on science exhibits and the UK's largest capacity digital Planetarium! Open seven days a week.

Set within the beautiful South Downs National Park in a purpose-built iconic building with free on-site parking, the Science Centre is run by a charity.

Term-time opening hours: 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 5pm weekends and bank holidays. Extended hours in some holiday periods.
October Half Term holiday: Saturday 25 October to Sunday 2 November; Winchester Science Centre is offering an exciting programme of events and extended weekday opening hours of 9am - 6pm. Weekend opening hours 10am - 5pm. For full details click here.
Please note: Winchester Science Centre will be closing one hour early at 4pm on Saturday 29 November. This is due to the Stargazing event that will be taking place that evening.

The Science Centre had over 150,000 visitors last year. Come for a few hours or for a whole day out; the Science Centre has a cafe and indoor / outdoor picnic areas.
