Young Engineers Celebrating Schools STEM Programmes

The Young Engineers Team are inviting applicants for two exciting initiatives.

They are starting 2016 off with a search to find and celebrate schools* running exemplary STEM programmes. They are also hunting for a bright and confident teenager to send on an all-expenses paid trip to the Broadcom Masters in the US this May. (*Note that eligible schools must be members of the Young Engineers Network. To sign up, simply register here or register to take part in one of their activities this academic year. This will enable the Young Engineers team to consider you for their School of the Year award should you wish to apply but are not currently a member.)

Young Engineers School of the Year 2016

Celebrating the varied and exciting STEM work of member schools. Giving recognition for all of the wonderful work you undertake promoting STEM to your students.
5 schools will attend the National Final, held at The Big Bang Fair at the NEC on 16-17 March 2016. Top prize £1,000, with several other awards to compete for too.
The deadline for applications is 2 February 2016. 

Broadcom Masters International Award

The Young Engineers Team are looking for bright, confident and independent students aged 14-15 years who are keen to increase their awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and can confidently discuss STEM matters, projects and opportunities with other like minded international students at the Intel ISEF in the US this May.
The deadline for applications is 15th February 2016.
