TeenTech Awards 2015/2016

Can your students make life better, simpler easier or more fun? 

TeenTech are delighted to confirm the categories for the TeenTech Awards 2015/6 which challenge students aged 11-18 to take a fresh look at the world using science, engineering and technology.
 
If you have participated in the TeenTech Awards before, you'll know how powerful they can be in engaging pupils in STEM subjects and developing their confidence and communication skills. There are £1000 prizes for the winning teams in each category and the winners will be invited to a presentation ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

Right now! Register using the Stage 1 Form to guarantee places in the TeenTech Award scheme. We will then send a Teacher Pack which contains everything you need to know about developing and submitting projects. 
December 15th - Last date to confirm intention to enter. Some categories may become over-subscribed so early registration is advisable
March 15th 2016 - Projects must be submitted by this date
Beginning Summer Term - Finalists announced - 
June 2016 - Final Judging Day - Royal Society 

TeenTech also run lively one-day events across the country designed to help young teenagers see the wide range of career possibilities in Science, Engineering and Technology. They bring together students from 30/50 schools across a region and over 140 scientists, technologists and engineers for a day of challenges and experiments.

These events are likely to be of interest to STEM Ambassadors from tech backgrounds, and also to teachers of Computing/ICT and perhaps Design Technology.
