Go4SET Final in Fareham

On Monday 8th of July, the final of the EDT Go4SET was held at CEMAST in Fareham.

 

Go4SET Projects are 10 WEEK STEM projects aimed at students aged 12-14 years old and offers students the opportunity to develop skills, inform subject choice and change perceptions about STEM, raising awareness of how studying these subjects can lead to a rewarding career.

Several teams from Hampshire arrived at CEMAST, Fareham College for a celebration of their projects and the work they had completed over 10 weeks.

Of the teams that entered, the Mountbatten School and their mentors Ericsson Television were crowned with the Best Overall Project Award. Bohunt School and Clarcor IA won the Most Innovative Award and Sandown Bay Won the Students Choice Award with their mentors, Red Funnel.

The day was a great success, with students also being assessed for CREST Awards during the day.
