Calthorpe Park School's STEM Club win BAE's STEM competition!

Calthorpe Park School's STEM Club won BAE's STEM competition for the 3rd year running!

This involved designing and building a mechanism to fire a ping-pong ball over 2m to hit a small target, and giving a presentation to BAE senior engineers.

The STEM Club was also busy winning the Young Engineer's runners up UK National STEM Club at the National Big Bang Fair, with one fortunate pupil also winning The Broadcom Masters which included a trip of a lifetime to the International Science and Engineering Fair held in Pittsburgh, USA!  Congratulations to you all.
