Become a Social Mobility Mentor

Are you a STEM Ambassador with an interest in becoming a Social Mobility Foundation mentor? You could support students with your STEM background, in providing an insight to STEM careers.

The Social Mobility Foundation is a charity working to make a practical improvement in the social mobility for young people from low-income backgrounds. A major aspect of the support they offer is their mentoring scheme, whereupon students on their programmes are matched with a professional mentor. The mentors help by providing their mentees with a valuable insight into their favoured career sector, whilst also providing guidance and support with their university applications and through their A-Level studies.

They are currently recruiting for mentors to participate in our 2015 mentoring cycle. If you would like to share your experience and wisdom with a motivated and bright young student to help guide them through an important year of their life, please sign up to take part in this valuable and rewarding volunteering opportunity.
